How it works
L-Methylfolate is a cofactor in the production of monoamines serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, which are involved in the regulation of mood and the mechanisms of actions of antidepressants. Pyridoxal 5′-phosphate (PLP) is the cofactor involved in the stabilization of carbanions at Ca of amino acids and plays a key role in amino acid metabolism. It works by functioning in the production of a compound called myelin, which covers and protect nerve fibers. Methylcobalamin rejuvenates the damaged neuron.
Usage And Safety
Dosage
Adults: 1 capsule/tablet per oral twice daily or 2 capsules/tablets per day.
Children: Not recommended OR As directed by your physician.
Side Effects
A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), dizziness, trouble breathing.
