EROCOF-D provides relief from symptoms such as:
- Dry, hacking coughs: It contains a cough suppressant (Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide) which reduces the activity of the cough center in the brain.
- Runny or stuffy nose: It includes a decongestant (Phenylephrine) that narrows blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion.
- Allergy symptoms: An antihistamine (Chlorpheniramine Maleate) helps relieve watery eyes, sneezing, and throat/nose irritation.
- Congestion or stuffiness.
Important Considerations
- Duration of Use: This medicine is typically used for a short time until symptoms clear up and should not be used for more than one week without consulting a doctor.
- Consult a Doctor: Seek medical advice if the cough persists for more than a week, recurs, or is accompanied by a fever, rash, or persistent headache.
