How it works

Terpin Hydrate and Ammonium Chloride work by decreasing the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and help in its removal from the airways. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of allergy, hay fever, and the common cold.

Usage And Safety

Dosage

Dose: 1-2 tsp 3-4 times a day for Adults. 1/2 -1tsp 3-4 times a day for Children or as directed by your physician.

Side Effects

Drowsiness, impaired reactions, dizziness, headache, somnolence, sedation, nausea, dry mouth, fatigue, attention, disturbances, blurred vision.

Drug Interactions

This medicine potentiates the effects of sedatives.

Indication

Productive cough, common cold, bronchitis & cough associated with allergic and inflammatory conditions.

When not to Use

Hypersensitivity towards any of the ingredients listed.

Precaution

Do not take if you have ever had an allergic reaction to chlorphenamine, any other antihistamines or any of the other ingredients.
