levonorgesterol is a hormonal medicine works combinely with estrogen to prevent fertilization and ovulation.
Adults: 1 tablet taken as soon as possible after intercourse(upto max. 72hrs) then 1 tablet 12 hr after first dose.
Children: Not applicable. OR As directed by your physician.
Nausea, some irregular bleeding until next period, lower abdominal pain, tiredness and headache.

Levonorgestrel is used as an emergency contraceptive .
This medicine is not recommended if you have a disease of small bowel (such as Crohn’s disease), severe liver problems, a history of ectopic pregnancy, a history of salpingitis (inflammation of the fallopian tubes) or sensitive to any of the ingredients in list.
Levonorgestrel tablet also contains lactose so it should not be used in history of lactose intolerance.
It is not recommended if you are allergic to levonorgestrel or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Levonorgestrel is not indicated for use before the first menstrual bleeding (menarche).
Caution must be taken in case of severe hepatic impairment.
